Inter are getting closer to Marash Kumbulla. The neroazzurra company has already entered into an advanced negotiation with Hellas Verona, putting on the plate about 32/33 million euros (counterparts and bonuses included) and the guarantee of leaving the Albanian defender for another year in Veneto.
Inter in all likelihood has scored the decisive overtaking in the race to Marash Kumbulla, for months finished - to the sound of phenomenal performances - in the sights of several great European teams, such as Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United and RB Leipzig.
The neroazzurro club has made an important offer in the last few days at Hellas Verona which is around 32/33 million euros (counterparts and bonuses included) and which provides for the permanence in Gialloblù of Kumbulla also for the 2020/2021 season. And this could be the keystone to definitively unlock the negotiation.
The parties are continuing to dialogue in these hours especially to find the agreement on the cash base from which to take off the negotiation, as reported also by the well-known football transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. A matter of days and, unless there are sensational unexpected events, the future of Kumbulla will be tinged with blue and black.
Born in Peschiera del Garda, in the province of Verona, to Albanian parents, Marash Kumbulla joined the youth sector of Hellas Verona in 2008, making the whole process of categories up to the first team, with which he made his debut in 2018.
In 2015 he was called up for the first time by the Albanian Under-17 national team, while in the following years he was called up by the Under 19 and Under 21 selections. Last year, however, his debut in the senior national team in Moldova-Albania 0-4 came for the qualifications to the european championships.
A dream that has come true for Kumbulla, which has always maintained a strong emotional bond with its country of origin:
"My roots convey a strong sense of belonging to the traditions and history of my people. It is a feeling that pushes me to always give my best. " - stated in an interview in April for the Corriere della Sera.
