When the Munich TV reporter asked the writer Kasem Trebeshina - one of the few Albanian dissidents of the twentieth century - what life was like closed in prison, he replied: "I was closed inside, but free."
"Closed, but free". This phrase has been my mantra from March 11 to today. My inspiration. And also the sentence of my brother - author of the photos. He, however, had to go out, in the allowed hours, to take many of the photos associated with the poems.
The collection of poems begins at the end of the summer of 2019, continues with everyday shots - including the earthquake. Enter quarantine. We remain. It overcomes it with thought, willpower, trust, dignity.
With the determination, courage and self-sacrifice of doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff. This unpublished book of poems is for them. To create an Emergency Fund for those who are fighting on the front line and are infected by COVID-19.
