Not just from Italy; for dental tourism in Albania they are starting to arrive from every corner of Western Europe, such as, for example, from France, Belgium and England.
Furthermore, the novelty is that it is no longer a question of flows of disorganized people but of a real dental tourism organized in detail:
"Reception at the airport, free stay in the hotel but also tourist trips to Tirana and surroundings" - Explains Ana Kokomeshi, administrator of dental tourism.
And there is even more: there is, in fact, also a 'communication office' that deals with answering phone calls and emails from patients who write from all over Europe, as well as dealing with the management of the various social pages.
Once arrived in Albania, then, patients come across not only in tourism but also in the most modern dental technologies - which very often do not exist in their countries of origin - in specialized dentists both in Albania and abroad and in prices at 'roughly of 50% -70% cheaper than those of western EU countries.
"The medical team, dentists, carers, cleaning, decorum; everything is wonderful. At first I was skeptical about doing this, but here they treated me like a king. Not even in France have I been treated so well. Here you feel part of a family. " - says Lionel Prioul, a French dental tourist. A discovery, that of Albania, which also greatly affected his compatriot Joel Cuban:
"I am discovering that Albania is in a great phase of development and that it will have many tourists in the future; none of this has to do with all the thoughts that are made outside of it. "
Also from Italy many people arrive for this particular type of tourism:
"The Albanian people are very welcoming. I never imagined that Albania had all these beautiful places. The dental service is exceptional. " - says Anna Gianmarino, an Italian dental tourist.
But why, in addition to cheap prices, all these tourists arrive in Albania? The answer is in the words of Dritan Gremi, administrator of dental tourism:
"Albania has many dental clinics, a very qualified and competent staff of doctors, which until now has not been fully exploited. Now we have to think of some strategies that can develop dental tourism even more. "
