All fines imposed so far by police on pedestrians and drivers who have broken restrictive measures against the spread of coronavirus will be canceled.
In total, said Prime Minister Edi Rama, there are 7.107 fines for pedestrians and 1941 for drivers to whom suspended licenses and confiscated cars will be returned. These measures were taken in conjunction with the entry into force of the amendments to the penal code. So citizens fined and drivers with a suspended license will enter in the next week with the new penal code like other citizens.
As previously announced, the premier has announced new measures that will come into effect on Monday next week with regards to workers who are in business. After announcing that tomorrow the list of activities will be published that with new openings from next week in the range of 05: 00-17: 30 or with shifts, Rama has communicated that workers can use the private car to go to the work. The use of the car will take place with the authorization that can be obtained through the online platform E-Albania.
The Prime Minister also gave good news to the retirees, who can leave the house until 11 tomorrow, but not accompanied by other people or create groups; just a walk to get some air. This permit is only granted to retirees as the rest will all be closed.
Premier Rama He also spoke of the damage suffered by the Albanian economy due to the coronavirus.
A loss for the state of 100 million euros is estimated in March, 170 million in April and the same figure is estimated in May, while a loss of 100 million euros is expected in June.
