We learn with pain the disappearance of Paolo Azzola, collaborator of ALBANIA NEWS and a sincere friend of our country. The death occurred this morning following a firefight in a bar in the center of Tirana.
From what we know, Paul was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. An absurd death, yet to be clarified, which however leaves us a great void, that of the journalist and that of his friend.
Italian Bergamasco by birth. Traveler for passion and desire to know. He transformed his passion into his work, his emotions into images and words. He had been in Albania for almost two years to do his job and he had the privilege of being able to say "I was there" experiencing the most important facts of this country in the last 4 years.
In expressing sincere and bitter condolences to the family, we remember him reading those words, full of love and intelligence, that he had dedicated to Albania.
"From tomorrow we change, Edi Rama will come to give new vigor and momentum to the country and I hope he does so with a real constructive spirit.
I hope that all those tools that are the foundations of a true democracy are adopted, I hope that meritocracy can soon win over "clientelism", that we engage in the social field to restore dignity to those people who have worked for years their lives to move this country forward and today struggle to get to the 15 every month.
I hope that new motivations and stimuli will be transmitted to the whole new generation that I see constantly living in an apathetic world and without stimuli, without seeing a future and with the sole desire to leave this country that suffocates them with the constant cloak of gray it prevents them from looking beyond an occupation that goes beyond call centers.
I hope that the school can take a significant step forward and that the universities are not just a budget item and real companies. I hope that attention will be given to those who want to invest in this country and generate employment, that companies have the serenity and tranquility of opening new realities
The commitments are many, heavy and important that impose precisely to shelve the grudges and roll up their sleeves and go further.
Beyond these considerations thrown at "free wheel" ... ... Gëzuar Shqipëri !!! "
When you are about to give up, stop for a moment and
think about the reason why you resisted until now.
Think of the destination, not how long it is,
roll up your sleeves and don't be afraid of fatigue.
Look in the mirror and recognize that
dreamer that you were and that is in front of you,
fight and fight.
And, when what you want will be yours,
bring a hand to your heart and you will feel in each
single beat the echo of each of the steps you
you have accomplished.
And if you have any scar, don't worry,
there is no victory without a war wound.
There is no rainbow without rain.
