So far two people have lost their lives due to this epidemic.
Currently 32 patients are hospitalized in infectious diseases. 3 patients are in intensive care, but none of them need assisted breathing. While the rest of the patients are in stable conditions so far.
We are continuing to test suspicious cases in order to disrupt the transmission chain of the COVID-19 infection.
As reported by the Minister of Health, the National Institut of Health has received a significant amount of diagnostic tests for COVID-19.
Despite our work, it is citizens who play an essential role in ensuring success in stopping the transmission chain of infection.
Once again an appeal to citizens: do not go immediately to the hospital!
Call 127 when you have symptoms!
Regardless of the measures taken, it is important to take isolation and personal hygiene measures to curb the spread of the infection. The best way to help healthcare workers and cope with this situation is for citizens to remain at home.
