From 6 to 8 November lthe Albanian capital will host the first training seminar for project Balkans' Memory, preserving and promoting audiovisual heritage. The seminar will be hosted by National Film Archive of Albania (AQSHF) with the participation of the Albanian Minister of Culture and the Ambassador of France in Albania.Balkans' Memoryit is presented in Tirana as a project co-financed by the European Commission, dedicated to the protection and enhancement of audiovisual archives and will be one of the five seminars that will continue the training dedicated to professionals from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, F.
R. Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia. This first seminar will see the presence of a group of archives managers from the Balkan countries to discuss the challenges of protecting and restoring audiovisual and film media, the most risky funds and formats and the digitalization mechanisms for securing them. There will be theoretical courses, round tables and visits conducted by sector specialists that will be offered to a public made up of fifteen professionals from the archives of the region. This project is organized in Albania by Ina EXPERT in collaboration with AQSHF, project partner with HAVC (Croatian Audiovisual Center) e COPEAM (Permanent Conference of Mediterranean Audiovisuals).
