A 73-year-old woman is the first coronavirus victim in Albania. The deceased woman was in the resuscitation department at the Durres hospital.

Over the course of 24 hours, two new cases with coronavirus were identified, a person who had had contact with the first cases and a 78-year-old man from Lushnja who was quarantined under medical supervision. Their conditions are stable, medical sources report.
The other 8 people who are in quarantine due to contact with the first two cases also have no serious symptoms.
