Milan found itself underwater on the morning of Friday 15 May, due to the heavy rains that followed throughout the night.
The rivers Seveso and Lambro are flooded causing severe disaggregation and considerable damage in the areas.
In particular in the Niguarda area, viale Fulvio texts, viale Sarca, viale Valfurva were the most affected.
Civil protection, firefighters, and ATM, the Milanese company that manages city traffic since the early hours monitored the situation of the two rivers.
The underpasses have long been closed because they are full of water, and dozens of streets, and cellars and low floors of the condominiums have been completely invaded by water.
Some metro stops have been closed as well as some surface tram and bus lines have been closed.
The situation returned to normal around 10:00 am
