After a STOP of about three years it opens the flow decree again for non-seasonal work. The questions can be asked starting from the 31th day after publication in the official journal. In other words, at the beginning of the new year.
Overall the decree provides for 98.080 entry quotas. Of these 52.080 are reserved for non-EU workers from countries that have signed agreements with Italy for readmission and regulation of flows. Specifically, there are quotas for:4.500 Albanian citizens; 1.000 Algerian citizens 2.400 citizens of Bangladesh8.000 Egyptian citizens4.000 Filipino citizens2.000 Ghanaian citizens4.500 Moroccan citizens5.200 Moldovan citizens1.500 Nigerian citizens1.000 Pakistani citizens2.000 Senegalese citizens80 Somali citizens3.500 citizens of Sri Lanka 4.000 citizens of other NGOs1.800 citizens of Niger1.800 citizens of Nigeria that conclude agreements aimed at regulating entry flows and readmission proceduresMaid and caregivers
30.000 entries are then provided for domestic work and personal care and assistance for workers from countries not included in the previous list. Disproportionate quota if we think that these are countries from which the migratory movement towards Italy is relative.
They can be converted into residence permits for subordinate work: 3.000 residence permits for studio 3.000 residence permits for internships and training 4.000 residence permits for seasonal work1.000 EC residence permits for long-term residents issued by another state 500 member long-term EC certificates released long-term from another member state may instead be converted into residence permits for self-employment.
Submission of applications
As in the 2007 the applications can be presented only through the online procedure in three distinct moments on the site:.1.For workers in all sectors of employment (including domestic helpers and carers) applications must be submitted by 8.00 on the thirty-first day following the date of publication of the decree. 2. For domestic workers and carers only from countries not belonging to those included in the list, the questions must be submitted from 8.00 on the thirty-third day following publication, as well as for those who want to convert their residence permit into a residence permit for work reasons. 3.Inutile, instead, the forecast of a moment to present the question dedicated to workers in other sectors not included among those coming from the countries listed, given that the total number of admissions is totally covered by domestic workers and caregivers and by conversions.
Albanian citizens must apply at the first electronic submission, either for domestic work or for subordinate work in other sectors. It is important to note that those who ask the question by contacting the various bodies that provide assistance and forward multiple questions try to understand what position they have in the sending list because only the first on the list can have a "chance" to enter Italy with a visa for subordinate work. Even those who are in Italy as a tourist can apply for a permit but not a conversion.
All interested parties are invited to contact, if they do not send themselves, to the authorized assistance centers (patronages, trade associations ...) in order not to fall into the trap of fixers who promise a safe place in the ranking.
