From eight o'clock in the morning tomorrow, 21 April 2010, until 24.00 of 31 December 2010, employers can submit applications for clearance for seasonal work provided by the 2010 Flows Decree.
The 2010 flow decree allows the entry into our country of seasonal non-EU workers within the maximum quota of 80.000 units, to be divided between the regions and the autonomous provinces with provision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies.
The fee includes: seasonal non-EU employees of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, Croatia, India, Ghana, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Ukraine. Non-EU seasonal workers in the following countries that have signed or are about to sign cooperation agreements on migration: Tunisia, Albania, Morocco, Mòldavia and Egypt. Non-EU foreign citizens holding a residence permit for seasonal employment in the years 2007, 2008, 2009.
The Ministry of the Interior also informs that the same provision also allows, as anticipation of the maximum entry quota of non-seasonal non-EU workers for the year 2010, the entry, for reasons of self-employment, of 4.000 non-EU foreign citizens residing abroad, belonging to the following categories: - entrepreneurs who carry out activities of interest for the Italian economy; - freelancers; - shareholders and directors of non-cooperative companies; - artists of clear international reputation and high professional qualifications engaged by public and private bodies; - artisans from non-EU countries who contribute financially to investments made by their citizens in the national territory. Within the aforementioned quota, the conversion of residence permits for study and professional training purposes into residence permits for self-employment and admission into Italy, for reasons, are permitted up to a maximum of 1.500 units. of self-employment, of 1.000 Libyan citizens.
