The 14 March, spring festival in Albania, remembered by "Juvenilja", a group of young Albanians, at the Candle Factory. First appointment of a series of events that Juvenilja is preparing for the coming months in the city of Forlì.
In Forlì there are more than 1200 Albanian citizens: families, students and workers who make up the largest and most integrated foreign community. For example, the 12% of construction companies are Albanian, or university students who attend faculties at the Forlì Campus are more than 200.
However, this community is not represented by any association. For this reason the Equal Opportunities Unit and the Youth Policies Unit of the Municipality of Forlì and the Median Spaces Cooperative have decided to support "Juvenilja", a group of graduate and undergraduate students, for the organization of a series of activities such as a bilingual cineforum "Let's get to know Albania", screenings of documentaries on Albania and the Albanians, the organization of defenses for the anniversary of Albanian independence and New Year. Parties in which the Albanian community of Forlì will propose to remember important anniversaries and find themselves together with other communities in the company of traditional Albanian music and cuisine. Median Spaces that greeted those present. The dances staged by the Association "Integriamoci Insieme" of Cervia and the songs proposed by the president of the Association gave the party a typical Albanian touch. An exciting moment was also the performance of the children of the "Arcobaleno" kindergarten of Forlì who sang a song in Albanian. Not only the music cheered the occasion, but also the cuisine: the byrek, a savory pastry cooked by Ariana and Anila, other traditional dishes prepared by Deana, meatballs and potatoes from Dorina, drinks from Fabjan and Alban. Not missing the typical dessert of the Spring Festival, the Ballakume, an amalgamated of corn flour, butter, sugar, eggs, cooked by Endri. Anduela, Briselda Dori, Mirela have arranged the room together with Alban and Resli. All together to show that a small group that wants to represent the Albanians was born in Forlì and is taking its first steps.
