The spokesperson of the association Skanderbeg, Granit Mucaj, has sent on behalf of the organization that represents a press release where he expresses the regret and apprehension of the Albanian community of Fermo and Reggio Emilia on the tragic affair of the two workers murdered with gunshots by their employer, to whom they turned to ask for the pay of their work. Below is the press release that we publish in full:
The Albanian Skanderbeg Association on Monday 15 September 2014 lost two of its members. Their families lost their most dear ones: the fathers of the little children, who kept them economically and brought joy and serenity. The City of Fermo has lost two honest citizens and good construction workers at the hands of a person who does not deserve to be called an "entrepreneur", who, instead of rewarding his collaborators for his work, kills them like animals.
Our community condemns the violence and thanks the press for the difficult work done in giving the news without expressing some opinions and we ask for their help to be able to spread the data of the postal cc dedicated to the families of the victims: C / C post Kucanaj Valbone IT63D0760113500001022072167;
We welcome the closeness shown by the Embassy of Kosovo, the Mayor of Fermo and other local authorities, trade unions, associations and above all simple citizens towards the families of the victims and of the entire Albanian community.
We appreciate the initiative taken by the trade unions of workers and entrepreneurs to ask and support the families of the victims and express themselves with disdain for the terrible gesture that has broken two young lives and the working realities where uncertainty and malaise that threatens relations between workers and entrepreneurs. Many workers, self-employed workers, and entrepreneurs find themselves in difficulty today because they are unable to collect the money for the work they have done.
We are close to the families of the victims to contribute, as much as possible to lighten the pain of family members, and above all to guarantee lasting financial support, especially considering the tender age of the children left without a father.
We express our confidence in the activity of the magistrates and that their commitment will lead to a just sentence with the hope that these events will not be repeated in the future.
We are saddened by the prolongation of time for the repatriation of the bodies, and we hope for a swift decision to be able to guarantee the victims at least eternal rest close to their loved ones. This is respect for the victims and their families, respecting customs, traditions and traditions.
We have always been at the forefront, to promote respect for the laws among our community and to defend their rights whenever they are injured.
