The 10 May 2011 will be held in the prestigious setting of the Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence, the Conference "Media Diversity Pluralism" on Tuscan experiences related to the theme of media and immigration. The round table Ismail Ademi, one of the collaborators of Albania News, moderates.
Promoted by COSPE, University of Florence, Tuscany Region, Assostampa and Order of journalists of Tuscany, the event will be divided into two sessions. The first is dedicated to the local application of the Charter of Rome, and data will be presented, collected by the University of Florence, relating to the representation of migrants in local media. The round table moderated by Ismail Ademi (Network of Albanians in Tuscany and journalist of Albania News) in which representatives of local journalism will take part, Roberto Natale (FNSI ) and Anna Meli (COSPE ).
In the second session we will talk about the importance of intercultural competences in the media and, therefore, of the experience of Ansi (National Intercultural Press Association) and the birth of the Tuscan section.
