The Scanderbeg association that for more than 4 years has been active and gathers together the Albanians of Parma, as part of the activities planned for the year 2011, organizes on the occasion of Women's Day and in collaboration with the Civic Libraries Institution of Parma, the cultural event that includes the presence of the Albanian writer Anilda Ibrahimi.
On March 8, 2011, at 18.30 pm the meeting with the writer begins and she will speak to the readers of her book published by the publishing house Einaudi entitled "Red as a bride". On March 9, 2011, the writer Anilda Ibrahimi will go to two high schools in the city to talk to young people about her experience and the living conditions of Albanian women from the past to the present day. Anilda Ibrahimi is an Albanian journalist and writer, currently residing in Italy. Graduated in modern literature at the University of Tirana, she worked in her country as a radio and television journalist and print media but moved to the 1994 abroad, first in Switzerland and then, from 1997, in Rome.
In 1996 he won the first prize for contemporary Albanian poetry in Lausanne and published the collection of poems Crystal of sadness.
In the 2008 Einaudi published the novel Rosso as a bride, written in Italian and focused on the vicissitudes of the women of a family through the social changes in Albanian history, from the archaic world of the early twentieth century to the real socialism of the communist regime of Enver Hoxha , to the post-communist society.
