Tomorrow at 10.00, the formal establishment of the FARE Network at the Department of Social Policies of the Emilia Romagna Region. Participation and identity, the key values on which the FARE Network is founded, Forum Albanian Associations in Emilia Romagna, which will be formalized on Friday 29 October 2010, at 10.00, with the signing of the deed of incorporation at the Regional Department of Social Policies in Viale Aldo Moro 21 in Bologna. A reality born of a shared and shared journey that lasted more than seven months, in which the eight founding Albanian associations met several times to discuss and identify common goals and actions on which to build their future cooperation. In addition to the presidents of the associations, the Regional Councilor for the Promotion of Social and Integration Policies, Teresa Marzocchi, the Consul Gjon Coba of the Albanian Consulate General in Milan, representatives of the Municipality of Forlì and of the Province of Forlì-Cesena.
The participation of non-Italian citizens in the public sphere, the promotion of the Albanian culture and language, together with the strengthening of the associative fabric at the local level and of the relations between the two shores of the Adriatic, are the main objectives of the nascent Network which refers to the principles and values enshrined in the Italian and Albanian Constitutions and in the main papers on rights and social promotion.
Instead, the website, activities, projects and common positions are among the actions that the Network will undertake in the future to consolidate and become an active player in the cultural, social and political life of the Emilia Romagna Region. For the presentation of the Network at local level, a joint activity is planned between November and December with the screening of the documentary "Albania, the country in front" which will begin on November 9 in Forlì, the city from which the Fare Network has taken hold, to continue to Cervia, Parma, Ravenna, Rimini, Modena, Bologna, the other cities where the founding associations operate.
The FARE Network
The FARE network is the result of a long work, started under the input of the Juvenilja Association of Forlì at the end of March 2010, and developed thanks to a project co-financed by the Municipality of Forlì and the Province of Forlì-Cesena with resources of the Emilia-Romagna Region (decentralized cooperation) and European (Interreg IIIA). After a series of bilateral meetings with 9 Albanian associations active in the Emilia Romagna Region, Juvenilja built a platform shared by the resulting proposals which was discussed at the first plenary of the 24 last April held in Forlì. 7 the associations that participated in it besides Juvenilja: AlbaMedia (Modena), Amicizia (Rimini), Integriamoci Insieme (Cervia), Madre Teresa (Ravenna), Scanderbeg (Parma), Tutti Insieme (Bologna) and the Union of Albanian Students of Bologna (USAB).
Four other meetings followed between Forlì, Parma and Bologna and a continuous exchange of opinions and ideas through the use of web platforms and social networks, at the end of which the eight associations reached the best synthesis of the fundamental principles and values of the common goals and actions and the structure of the emerging Fare Network. The meetings are considered an important moment of discussion and discussion, therefore the member associations undertake to meet at least four times a year in rotation in their offices.
The 1 last September, the associations met the Regional Councilor for Social Policies, Teresa Marzocchi, illustrating the path and the objectives of the Network and asking her to officially host and preside over the signing of the memorandum at the headquarters of the Emilia Romagna Region. Among the organs of the Network, the Assembly and the Board of Directors have deliberative powers, instead the Presidency and the Secretariat for coordination, spokesperson and implementation of the annual action plan. The Assembly is composed of a representative of each member association, instead the Executive Council by the Presidents of the associations. The Presidency and the Secretariat have an annual mandate and are assumed by the same association elected by a two-thirds majority from the others. For the first term, these two positions are covered by the Juvenilja Association of Forlì.
