Ucai - Fvg (Union of immigrant communities and associations of the Province of Udine) - non-profit association is made up of approximately 46 Associations and Communities of immigrants, coming from as many different nations, active for many years in the regional and municipal context in the field of immigration - is organizing the 13 ^ edition of the "Festival of Migrant Cultures".
This is a consolidated cultural event in the Udine area, which sees the participation of various associations and communities of immigrants in the province of Udine. The main objective of this event is to bring "new and old" inhabitants of the local community through culture as an activity of confrontation, exchange, encounter, expression and self-enhancement.
It involves the participation of a dozen musical, singing and dance art groups from all continents and, as is now tradition, ends with the parade, in traditional costumes, of representatives from around 28 different countries, from Europe to Latin America passing through Africa and the East.
The Festival has for years been an opportunity to dialogue in the territory on the always important themes of integration, dialogue, the coexistence of peoples and cultures without prejudice or prejudice of any kind.
This year we dedicate the Festival to women, children and men who have created the UCAI and who strive every day to ensure that their ideals continue to exist.
To make health representing the Municipality of Udine there will be the Culture Councilor Fabrizio Cigolot.
The event will go live starting at 17.30 with concerts and shows by groups from Albania, Brazil, Egypt, the Philippines, Kenya, Russia, Serbia, Thailand, Ukraine and of course the inevitable African Drums.
The day will end with the great parade of migrant communities present in Friuli Venezia Giulia, who will wear their traditional costumes, representing numerous countries from the five continents, from Europe to Latin America, passing through Africa and the East.
We recall that this event is part of the review "UdinEstate 2019" and is sponsored by the Municipality of Udine.
