The subjectivity of remaking; this is the title of the Albanian artist's exhibition Eltjon Valle, which will be inaugurated tomorrow 20 Settembre to theNew Morone Gallery' to Milan. Edited by Klod Dedja, this exhibition will bring a cycle of authentic works in sculpture and painting.
In contemporary art, artists obtain authentic positions or points of view to face the real world. Without these different perspectives, the world would essentially be a huge collective void, because in some way the artist is indispensable to repropose what does not exist in the society that surrounds us. In this context the artist Eltjon Valle proposes the "The subjectivity of remaking"
The artist's works are parallel acts to the real world, in which we try to re-establish a non-existent object, in order to be able to infiltrate deeply into the subjective consciousness of the matter that we do not know deeply.
The artist recreates the material in conceptual forms as a penetration into the essence of transformation, giving a totally imaginary identity with a strong sense of reflection. Recycled materials such as titanium, aluminum, iron, zinc, oil or various chemical compounds are his new world, a world of space objects that react with each other as a conflict of coexistence.
A material that the artist tries to recreate with his own hands, as a reaction action, to travel as a chemical agent, to revive new linguistic essences of an epochal landscape.
Eltjon Valle is part of the new generation of conceptual artists from Albania, born in the 1984 in Kuçova, one of the most polluted areas of oil wells, where the landscape resembles an apocalyptic scene with Hollywood Movies special effects.
Surreal and shocking is this landscape decoration with which he identified the essence of his works using materials taken from this area contaminated by human selfishness. Crude oil is one of the elements he has often used for his installations in various forms, using the ground of Kuçova cracked as "requiem" in the memory of his past.
Art always reacts as a social collector as a reflection of human nature and for this reason, in front of Eltjon Valle's work, one can perceive its transversal act: ... dissolving to recreate another world without memory ...
Eltjon Valle was born in Kuçova in 1984, lives and works in Milan. He studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, graduating in 2007 with a thesis on the subject of the territory. The central theme of his work has a precise ecological connotation (which in any case stimulates wider reflections and suggestions). Concentrating attention on the primary expressiveness of materials, not the traditional ones of painting and sculpture but those of fundamental importance of the urban and natural dimension, is undoubtedly one of the most significant contributions of the procedural and environmental art of the '60 /' years 70.
Valle has participated in exhibitions such as: The 54ma Biennale di Venezia, Bevilaqua Venezia Foundation, Micro Museum New York, National Center for Moscow Contemporary Art, The National Gallery of Arts Tirana, The National Gallery of Arts Prishtina, Taller Siete Medellin, Parco del Contemporaneo Forte Marghera and Museum of Contemporary Art Villa Croce Genoa.
