'Shkodra Elektronike' is the solo project of the scutary musician and producer Kole Laca, keyboardist of 'Il Teatro degli Orrori', '2PIGEONS' and collaborator of important names on the Italian music scene such as Roy Paci and Mezzosangue.
The 'Shkodra Elektronike' project stems from the desire to add to the already numerous influences of the Aheng musical style, the electronic genre, evolving it and making it available for use today. The Aheng repertoire is composed of songs born in the early 800 up to those born in the '50,' 60 years of the last century.
It is a tradition born and evolved incorporating different traditions and influences: from the Turkish ones to the songs of the mountains of Northern Albania; from those of the Republic of Venice to the Gypsy tradition. In "Shkodra Elektronike" to these multiple influences is added the electronic one. It is an operation that seeks to bring tradition into the contemporary world.
'Shkodra Elektronike' immediately attracted the attention of both Italian and Albanian professionals. After presenting it in various rooms of the peninsula and at Radio 3 RAI, Kole, in this month of May, will play Shkodra Elektronike in some of the most important live clubs in northern Italy and Albania:
• 3 / 05 "Space Lomellini" Genoa
• 7 / 05 "Germi" Milan
• 10 / 05 "Ca 'Zanardi" Venice (afterparty inauguration of the Albiania / Kosovo de La Biennale pavilion)
• 16 / 05 "Ekrani i Artit" Shkodra

The Italian dates will see the participation of the scutarina singer Beatriçe Gjergji.
