'Humanum Est' is the new photographic exhibition of Albanian authors that the Alb Art Association inaugurates - the next 9 May - together with the cultural center 'San Secondo' and the library 'Giorgio Faletti', right at the cultural center 'San Secondo' of Asti.
The guests will be Rozafa Shpuza, photographer who lives in Tirana, and Edmond Kaceli, photographer of Albanian origin but now Italian by adoption since 20 has lived in the Langhe for years.
It is no coincidence that both artists are also poets, characterized by strong and intense personalities, as well as by authentic artistic inspiration. Their works, although very different from each other, are united by this deep look towards reality.
Rozafa Shpuza's photography captures, in black and white, the colors of emotions, memories, nostalgia and deeply human sensations, with portraits of people at different times in life. For Shpuza, photography offers a chance to go deep into details and objects, to penetrate the soul of individuals and select particular elements: the character, the cut, the shadow, the refraction. And in this way of seeing life. Photography perceives the real and imagines beyond normality.
The human gaze of all ages in a strong contrast, in black and white, conveying colors of emotions of memory, nostalgia or a commemoration.
The photographs of Edmond Kaceli, instead, capture the world in macro: an explosion of colors of nature without boundaries, which is gathered in the lens of his camera. For Edmond Kaceli, photography is writing a poem with light. An eternal love, an inexplicable passion. When he writes the shot, he feels really free.
The two artists will exhibit their emotions to the Asti public. Sabina Darova will be moderating the evening. To get to know their works, their identity as artists, the appointment is set for 9 May 2019, at 18.00 at the San Secondo Cultural Center in Asti, Via Carducci 22. The exhibition will be open to the public until May 11, from 10 to 18.
