She was born the 26 January 1983 a Gramsh (Albania). The move to Tirana at the age of 11 years, meant that he defined his ideas that would later influence his future choices, such as the passion for the art of music painting and theatrical performance and also of experimental madness. Big cities give you this opportunity.
Young artists are also growing in the face of so much competition because of social networks. A photo would have the value of a testimony but not everyone can interpret this as an art. Then there is language, the way of codifying what thought tries to express through the mechanical means.
Yes, it takes a lot more to know how to talk in black and white through that medium. It takes a lot of work and a lot of study.
Rozeta Lami, a student who came from Albania to move to Parma and then to Milan opens the doors of her art in Lombardy.
She was formed by herself, if one can say, only by studying and working to achieve the best of herself.
This young woman lives fluctuating in her desires without stopping. I would like to promote this promise of art as a form of testimony because the woman who knows her stuff is like that "Portrait of a sepia" by Allende, nothing can stop her.
The 27 October 2017, thanks to the collaboration with North East Cafe, which hosts various artists every month, it was possible to organize its first photographic exhibition at the restaurant, located in Milan in the beautiful area of the island, adjacent to the Milan business district.
The first steps?
I have always loved the novelty and the arrival in the capital has meant that I met with people and ideas decidedly different from those of a small city. This led me to set goals and to always look for something more in my relationships with others.
The country where I come from gave me the opportunity to see beyond and my family pushed me to realize my dreams. I have always had enormous support from them and for this reason I feel very lucky.
What does photography have in this?
The passion for this art has grown in a totally unconscious way, through the albums perfectly preserved by my father. He has old photographs 70 years and those small yellowed images reminded me of distant memories that stimulated my imagination.
Then, for years my goal was to study abroad and I turned to university life in Italy, to Parma to be exact. Once I graduated in Economics and Marketing I moved to Milan, to the metropolis where I still live.
How do you live in Milan, do you feel it a little yours now?
Milan I find it very fascinating as it offers you what you are looking for. From the social life to the intimacy of small and ancient alleys where, taking a glass of wine, you immerse yourself in the music and the dances of the Teatro della Scala or the majesty of the Sforzesco Castle, from the ingenious inventions of Leonardo da Vinci to bike rides along the Naviglio .
I gradually fell in love with this city and that's where my photographic experience comes from.
When did the first shot arrive?
Working with photographers I followed, trying to understand how this strange and fascinating thing worked, I started shooting. Bought my first camera, I started, like all novice photographers, taking pictures of the loved ones then at the events. Then photo books until I get to develop my personal projects, coming to the show I'm holding from 16 October 2017 to 19 November 2017.
The inauguration will take place on 27 October at Nord Est Café and will remain on display until 19 November.
The steps taken together with others?
I was lucky enough to know and collaborate with really good people in this profession like Riccardo Frezza, photographer for various magazines in Italy, Giovanni Gastel, award-winning photographer, who gave me some very important indications for my career.
What is there to see?
The exhibition in question treats the woman in its various facets, from the perfect woman dream of men to the woman confused with all her most intimate fears. Because we are complex and not perfect beings. In addition, my shots also represent the game as a form of expression. My models offer me so much during the shots so I want to come out more and more from
A good reason to come?
The object of the exhibition is the body that is feminine or masculine. The study of the movements and geometric shapes that a body can create is something that has always fascinated me. This led me to play and try to create photographs that represent my taste and my being.
I hope you enjoy it too.
Fundamental inspiration of my photography - Herb Ritts, Michelangelo Antonioni and Giovanni Gastel.
So I think the fundamental reason to come is curiosity, as it is for me with other artists. This would be a great reason!
