THE PROJECT. The other way. From conflict to reconstruction: female strategies is promoted by the magazine Confronti with the support of 8 per thousand of the Waldensian Church ⎼ Union of Methodist and Waldensian churches. The project intends to draw attention to female social micro enterprises born in a post-war context, which are characterized by the involvement of women belonging to different religious and ethnic groups, once in conflict.
With their work, these women contribute to a tangible improvement in the society they belong to, not only because of the key role played within the labor market, but also as bearers of an important message of intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
The objective of the project is to provide training elements and at the same time give visibility and support to these initiatives, enhancing the message of peace, reconciliation and dialogue.
