Jonida Maliqi and her song 'Ktheju Tokës' will participate in the Saturday finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
In fact, the Albanian singer shone yesterday evening - that of the second semifinal - thanks to her single dedicated to emigrants and their homeland, to which the public reacted with numerous applauses.
Even the Facebook page of the Eurovision Song Contest praised the voice of the winner of the 57 edition of the Albanian song festival, calling it 'enchanting'.
Twenty-six countries will perform in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 tomorrow starting at 21: 00 (live Rai 1 with commentary by Federico Russo and Flavio Insinna).
Jonida Maliqi will perform second, the position considered cursed because no one has ever won from there. Superstition or not, the minimal goal of the Albanian singer remains to improve the eleventh place reached last year by Eugent Bushpepa.
Mahmood, representing Italy and one of the favorites on the eve, will perform with his 'Soldi' for twenty-second. This is the complete order of exhibition:
Malta; Albania; Czech Republic; Germany; Russia; Denmark; San Marino; Northern Macedonia; Sweden; Slovenia; Cyprus; Holland; Greece; Israel; Norway; UK; Iceland; Estonia; Belarus; Azerbaijan; France; Italy; Serbia; Switzerland.
How to vote
The Eurovision winner will be indicated by votes from all participating countries, including those released in the two semi-finals.
The voting mechanism of the event is not easy: each country assigns a score to each song, except that of its own country: at 50 per cent the judgment takes into account the one obtained with the televoting and at 50 per cent of that proposed by a jury of experts.
The juries have already voted in these days, but the results will be revealed only this evening during the final and then added to those of the televoting.
From home you can vote in three ways: through the official Eurovision Song Contest app, by sending a text message with the song code (the 2 number for Jonida Maliqi) to the 4754750, or by calling the 894222 from a landline.
