In Florence, in conjunction with "Florence Design Week" which takes place until 29 Maggio 2011, there is also the art exhibition "NATURE AND LIGHT" by the two young Albanian artists Albien Alushaj and Arber Elezi.
The initiative that takes place at the Auditorium al Duomo ”and Caffè Astra al Duomo, in, Via de 'Cerretani n.54 / r, Florence with free admission, had the support of the Life Beyond Tourism project, in turn conducted by the Fondazione del Bianco, and which - specifically sees tourism as a cultural heritage that contributes to dialogue between cultures and mutual understanding between peoples, obviously through the "light", transparency and universal language of Art. "Nature and Light is the way to express painting in its essence, as it is really perceived, as we have shown it in the best masters that transmitted light through poetic brushstrokes of color, where the air and its seductive moment are fixed on canvas ”- reads the intentions of the exhibition.
It is noted in the two artists who are protagonists of this exhibition, as in many other young pursuers of art in Italy, that they carry with them the baggage of the history from which they come, without forgetting any small detail of their origins, today mixed with lessons and perfectioning techniques of their art. It was precisely the union between competence and experience that made it possible for them to translate into a new language, that of art, by means of brushstrokes on canvas, with references to nature, to light, and without ever forgetting that simple initial baggage and recurring in their artistic life that easily makes them unique. The two young Albanian painters Albien Alushaj and Arber Elezi are students of the 4 ° year of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence explain that the realization of the exhibition started from an initiative for a totally personal realization, without financial support from other bodies and then have aroused interest in the organization of the "Florence Design Week" events. "Having therefore a personal impulse, intensely wanted to crown the beginning of a series of future participations in the various representations of art, also has a strong social connotation, as well as a great personal satisfaction", admits Albien. In fact, starting from the best belief, the dialogue between cultures means improving their knowledge through participation, both in contemporary and daily aspects, it can only result in greater communication and union between different peoples. Returning to the theme of the exhibition, "Nature and Light", it was chosen by the two young artists to follow the insuperable precepts offered in the past by the great masters, for whom "today's photography is nothing but light painting". "It was the great masters like Cézanne, Picasso, Dalì, Modigliani, etc., who changed the history of modern art, and saw the world with new, simpler eyes and had the courage to transform nature into an elegance aesthetics where everyone can find himself, and also find a moment or feeling from his life similar to that of others. Often in painting one feels life in a kind of straight line with nature and everything else that surrounds it is in harmony with it, a moment of meditation on perfect coincidence "- adds Albien describing the meaning of their exhibition. "This is not meant to be just a moment where you can love the simple brushstrokes on canvas in which you perceive everything and nothing, but also a return to the art that has served as a bridge to get here - to the days of destination as part of industrial design in innovation, of the media and electronic image, starting precisely from those great lessons of the past which nevertheless remain simple in their intentions. From this experience, the two new Albanian artists hope to start a debate, that is to build that dialogue on art, through the display of their creations, to have an incipit of openness to constructive criticism. Although at the beginning of their artistic journeys, they hope for future participation, in collective exhibitions, but also and above all in events or art exhibitions in their country of origin, from which they feel they are distant from the artistic point of view, but to which they would like offer the maximum of their contribution.
