"Creating sporting and entertainment events for solidarity and charity", this is the main purpose of the Italian National Friends "TV Angels", composed by the boys of the homonymous transmission of Channel 5.
The captain of the team, the Albanian dancer, Leon Cino , announces their round game:
This is the soccer game, with a theme: "A kick to bullying", which will take place on Saturday 14 Maggio at 10: 00, at the 'Lo Presti' stadium in Palmi (Reggio Calabria).
Unfortunately, for some time the bullying phenomenon has been recognized as an unpleasant aspect of school life, becoming a real social plague. Dealing with the situation is not easy for a teenager, you need to be equipped with a lot of inner strength. So by themselves, not everyone can cope. It is very important to open up to others, to talk about the problem to get out of the corner where we have been isolated.
There are various forms of bullying: the direct one, physical or verbal, the indirect one and, a form that has recently become widespread, is that of cyber bullying, that is bullying carried out through the internet (e-mail, social networks, chat, blogs, forums or through the mobile phone.)
To combat bullying, the best strategy is to involve the whole community: pupils, teachers, parents and all those who are able to intervene with determination and timeliness in the face of such cases.
Finding himself facing one of these cases, in support of one of his ballet students, the Albanian dancer who works in Italy, Leon Cino, for Albania News, reports:
"In a ballet class I happened to see one of my pupils being down in the dumps.
I called her aside and talked a little with her to try to figure out what was making her sick. I thought that it was something light and I started to encourage her to make her study better and soothe her, instead I discovered that some boys and girls of the state school that she attended, were bullying her on social networks with very heavy and unpleasant vocal messages . I was close to her, because unfortunately this is a reality that makes a lot of guys feel bad and it's a pretty delicate situation.
To offer my support to defeat this serious social problem in general, partly because I was involved in helping my student in the first place, I participate in this solidarity game "A kick to bullying", at the "Lo Presti" Stadium in Reggio Calabria, Saturday 14 May, at 10: 00. "
