The Thematic Seminar will take place within the Research activities: "100 Villages. The Diaspora as a Resource for the Knowledge, Preservation and Enhancement of the Lesser Known Cultural Sites in Albania ".
It is organized by DIDA - Department of Architecture in Florence and aimed at providing 20 Albanian Unifi students, of Albanian origin or belonging to the Italian arbëreshë communities skills in the field of digital survey and cognitive analysis of 3 cultural assets located in Përmet, a town in southern Albania, belonging to the Prefecture of Gjirokastra, where the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) has been active for some time.

The seminar will consist of classroom activities and field activities.
After a preparatory phase carried out at the DIDA in Florence, the Seminar (students and teachers) will move its headquarters in Albania, to Pёrmet, for a week.
Here the working group will take care of the important campaign of the three cultural assets to be studied and the acquisition of every type of information useful for their knowledge (materials, technologies, methods of use, symbolic and identity values, etc.) and subsequent data processing.
The products developed during the Seminar (3D surveys and canonical graphic production) will be donated to the municipality of Pёrmet.
