"Mesmerizing and deeply moving" Joe Boyd, produttore
Almost three decades after the fall of communism, a group of musicians from the folk music of Albania are trying to enter the world music scene.
Saz'iso includes some of the best contemporary artists of this charming style, originating from the cradles of Saze, near the beautiful cities of Korca
and Përmet, opening a window on the fascinating musical traditions of Albania.
This ensemble reproduces traditional songs and melodies from the cities of Southern Albania. They have been put together by Joe Boyd (the producer who launched the career of Pink Floyd) to record an album and in two weeks they will play in St.Luke, in the Barbican Center in London.
