Ambassador Alberto Cutillo attended the 10 October 2019, at the screening of the documentary "Even walls have ears" by Ervin Kotori which collects the testimonies of those who survived internment camps during the communist regime in Albania.
The documentary is an integral part of "Remembrance to Heal and Prevent" co-financed by Italy and UNDP and in support of the Albanian Authority on access to information of the former State security service.
The project aims to inform and sensitize the new generations about the history of Albania and has done so through conferences, opening to the public the archives and files of the former state security service, art installations and the collection of testimonies of those who survived the totalitarian violence of the regime.
"This is a really meaningful and profound project in which I truly believe, because great efforts have been made to show the truth and finally give voice to the victims" said Ambassador Alberto Cutillo yesterday during his speech for the screening of "Even walls have ears ”.
