30 has already been given small Albanian entrepreneurs, for over 100 between products and services. It is a brand designed to support and promote development processes initiated by cooperation initiatives financed by the Italian Government, in the sectors of tourism, agribusiness, catering and the environment.
To date, entrepreneurs from the regions of Përmet, to the south, and Malësi and Madhe, to the north, are benefiting, where projects are in progress. Vis for a value of 1.195.133,44 euro.
Following the results achieved by the project Alliance for the development of family farming in Northern Albania, performed by RTM for a value of 1.250.000 euro, in March new small entrepreneurs from the areas of Puka, Vau j Dejës and Fushë Arrez will receive the brand. They are regions, not the only ones, where Italian commitment is constant.
In over ten years of presence, minigrants and microcredits have been granted. New companies and new professionals have been created. The first Consortium of entrepreneurs, Pro Permet, and the first incubator of typical products in Albania are active in Permet.
A new incubator of typical products was recently inaugurated in Reç, in the north of the country, where small rural businesses support economic development and the difficult recovery of confidence in the social fabric in an area at high risk of emigration.
The Made With Italy brand enhances the intervention plan, coherent over time, of the Italian Cooperation in Albania and the ability to create constructive exchanges between Country Systems.
It is the Italian model of the villages to win for the Albanian villages. In this perspective, two important Italian partners of ongoing cooperation initiatives are Slow Food and The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy.
Shared values and areas of daily work are the quality of family hospitality, the typicality and genuineness of flavors, the protection and promotion of the environmental and cultural heritage. The Italian model of the villages traces a clear path for the Albanian rural areas and increases the conviction of the inhabitants that it is possible to build and grow on popular traditions and on the basis of a poor and peasant culture. From the Albanian villages, they wanted to escape first.
Now tourists are coming from all over the world in search of places that were previously little known and to be discovered.
On the other hand, it is not a discovery for many Albanian citizens that Italy here has contributed in fact to bringing greater certainty of socio-economic development, through new infrastructures, financial support, constant training, just to mention some concrete actions.

From March 2019, the typical Made With Italy products will be distributed in the Edua chain of stores promoted by the Albanian Government.
The Italian Cooperation closes new virtuous economic microcircuits: the only really essential for people. From the earth to the table, the brand promotes the qualitative growth of the small Albanian company, the opening to the market of previously exclusively local realities and the increase in the income of the poorest social groups.
Significant in this sense is the new approach to communication of the Tirana headquarters of the Italian Development Cooperation Agency: no longer just transparency and enhancement of its institutional role, but a true narrative strategy put at the service of development processes
